For the redecoration of this elegant main bedroom and ensuite, our client requested a classic Hamptons-meets-New-York-loft vibe. Going for an urban take on the usual ocean blues-and-white Hamptons palette, we used charcoal joinery teamed with navy paintwork in the bedroom, and a deep grey vanity in the bathroom. The feature wall of art deco-style dark marble and gold tiles brings a belt of 1920s New York glamour, as do the characterful brass accents in the tapware, cabinetry handles and light fittings.
